Fourth of July 2007 was like any other summer weekend.  Bill & Heather McCarthy were enjoying time with their 3 children - Liam then 7, Tommy then 5, and Caitlyn then 1. Suddenly something strange came over Bill and that’s all he remembered. At just 35 years old, our dear friend was diagnosed with an inoperable, stage 4, malignant brain tumor and has been fighting ever since.

We are Team McCarthy.  We are a group of hundreds of family, friends, co-workers, community members, schoolmates, church members and colleagues all working as one to help this family continue their courageous battle with cancer.
